CONFERENCE PROJECTS

Eligibility

1. Students of any age may submit projects.
2. Student Affiliate membership is not required for this activity.

3. There is no theory requirement.

General Information

1. Any student is eligible to submit a project using any music-related theme.
2. Projects may be done by individuals or groups of two to six students and may include students across grade

levels.
3. Projects may include trifolds, posters, games, compositions, art, or another tangible item.
4. The final presentation of a project must be no larger than 4’ x 4’ square. Pictures or posters of larger projects

may be submitted.
5. If a project involves electronic equipment, it is the student’s responsibility to provide the equipment.

a. Batteries should be used – no outlets will be provided.

b. TMTA will not be responsible for any equipment.
6. Student name(s) and grade(s), teacher, and local association must be included on a small card and attached to the front of the project.
7. Once projects are set-up in their designated space, students are to go to the registration booth to collect their

medals.

Awards

The TMTEF Trustees supervise these awards.
1. All students will be awarded a certificate of participation. 2. All students will also be given a medal.
