About Me
Eunice Lin is a talented cellist and passionate educator whose musical journey spans over a decade of dedicated study, performance, and teaching. Currently pursuing a Master of Music degree in Cello Performance at the University of North Texas under the guidance of Horacio Contreras, she previously earned her Bachelor of Music from the University of Taipei. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her achievements, including first prize at Taiwan’s National Student Competition of Music and third place in the University of Taipei Chamber Music Competition. She has also participated in prestigious programs like the LanYan Music Festival and Music Alp in France.
Eunice’s teaching experience is extensive and diverse, ranging from elementary to junior high schools in Yilan, Taiwan, to global instruction through the Connect2Music online institute. From 2022 to 2024, she inspired young musicians as a cello instructor at Yilan Shun An Elementary, Yilan Bei Cheng Elementary, and Luo Dong Junior High School, fostering a love for music in her students.
As a performer, Eunice has been a vital member of ensembles such as the Yilan Symphony Orchestra, Yilan String Orchestra, and Ars Nova Symphony Orchestra. She has enriched her artistry through masterclasses with renowned cellists like Sharon Laredo, Patrice Jackson, and Xavier Gagnepain.
Eunice's dedication to music is further demonstrated by her recognition through scholarships like the Teacher Education Scholarship and Diligence Scholarship. Her blend of performance expertise and teaching excellence positions her as an inspiring musician and educator, committed to sharing the transformative power of music with her students and audiences alike.
