Eligibility
1. Students in grades 1-12 may participate.
2. Student Affiliate membership is not required for this activity. 3. There is no theory requirement.
General Information

The TMTA Digital Keyboard Orchestra Reading Session is a noncompetitive instruction and participation activity that features group ensemble sight-reading of music written for keyboard orchestra settings.

Reading sessions will be held for each of three different levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced. Teachers are asked to select the appropriate music reading level for the student.

Session times will be emailed to teachers in May.
a. Requests for any changes should be submitted by the teacher. No parental requests will be accepted.
b. Once times have been assigned, changes to the schedule will be made only if vacancies are available and
only if the student has time conflicts with other conference events.
c. Students are to report at their assigned time. There will be NO time changes without the approval of the
chair. -
Teachers attending conference and nonregistered students may participate free of charge on a space- available
basis. Nonregistered students will not receive a participation point.
Procedures and Fees

Digital Keyboard Orchestra entries and payments must be submitted by the deadline at the back of this book.

Instructions and forms are provided on the TMTA website. These forms must be filled out completely by the teacher (not by a parent) and submitted by the deadline.

Entry fees should be collected and paid by the teacher (not by a parent). Entry fees are nonrefundable.

Each teacher is responsible for ensuring that every submission requirement is met on all forms before submitting
the entries to TMTA.
Awards
The TMTEF Trustees supervise these awards.
1. All students will be awarded a certificate of participation.
